Canadian BMW X3 Configurator is up!

The G01 configurator is now live on bmw.ca it seems the M40i is being displayed with the regular sport steeling wheel as well.

I don't see it, brings me to the 2017 models still. Hopefully tomorrow it's up everywhere.

I thought so as well but there are two X3's on that row of cars - and the 2018 one is the one at the end to the right. So it's there. lol

Why can't we get these options in the US? I don't get it.

I tried to build the xDrive30i, for some reason it wouldn't let me select the M Sport Line Package with the Ultimate Package... And on the price guide I had, it didn't say any restrictions regarding that!

It also allows you to select the Black Vernasca Leather with blue contrast stitching with the Ultimate Package. The Ultimate Package adds seat ventilation though, so that combo shouldn't work unless they're deleting the ventilation based on leather choice. But it deletes the Ultimate Package if you pick an Individual Leather option.

It is there. Old X3 is on the left. New X3 is on the right on the line that has the X cars.

When you try to build the M40i model only the 2017 models appear here in QC

Yeah it was working for QC and ON last night (and possibly others, but those were the 2 I checked).. but no longer there for me today. And I did notice that both X3’s were showing last night. Whatever, I’m sure it’ll all be working smoothly soon!

Ouch! Just curious, so I went in and tried to configure the same car I ordered for US. The configurator package details are extremely confusing making it hard to tell what incremental equipment is being added for each layer.

And I still can't get over how different the standard equipment list is given they are made in the same factory!

The configurator is showing the leather sport steering instead of the M Sport Steering Wheel for the M40i.

The configurator seems to be different than the ordering guide. When I select the Ultimate Package, it's making me add the Premium Essential Package (extra $4900) and the leather choices are cut down to 3 (Black, Canberra and Mocha). According to the ordering guide (Sept. version), I should be able to choose the following

X3 M40i - $61,500
C1M - Phytonic Blue Metallic - $895
ZKF - Ultimate Package - $12,500
MANL - Black Vernasca Leather w/ Blue Contrast Stitching - N/C
3AC - Trailer tow hitch - $750

Is anyone able to confirm whether or not the ordering guide for Canada has changed recently?

Usually when only those three leather choices are available it implies that front ventilated seats have been chosen. I checked your Canadian site, and it does indicate the additional 12,500 cost of 'Ultimate' includes the ventilated seats.

Better have your dealer check. I don't think you can get the Cognac with the ventilated seats.
