sidewall stiffness of RE-01R or RT615 compare to RFT?
Hi guys,
I'm thinking of replacing the stock bridgestone RE050A II RFTs that came stock on my E90 328 with either bridgestone RE-01R or falken RT615 my reasons for potentially switching are 1 ) non run flats are cheaper 2) i think RE-01R or RT615 will have more grip i don't care about ride harshness, tire wear, road noise, and i've used RT615 before so i'm familiar with how they perform in the wet (great.. unless you hit standing water with close to 2/32" tread depth.. then yikes) two questions for you guys 1) will the RE-01R or RT615 in fact have noticeably more grip? 2) will the turn in of the RE-01R or RT615 feel substantially worse than the stock tires? the stock RFTs feel like they have massively stiff sidewalls could someone running the RE-01Rs or the RT615 please help? Thanks, Nick |
