holdback question
I'm probably going to make an offer on a 2018 530e today for a car on the lot (East Coast, USA). What is a reasonable price to offer? I was thinking I'd calculate invoice minus the 5% holdback and offer $1000 above that, which should cover any dealer processing fees and salesman commission. Is that reasonable or is holdback sacred?
Thanks in advance. |

Well, based on my buying experience today, it seems they will go into the holdback at least some. Given others are reporting up to 9-10% off MSRP, they must be eating into holdback assuming those prices are not including any incentives.
