How big is the screen of Navigation Business radio?

I know the screen for Navigation Professional is around 10 inches...

But how about Navigation Business?

Any idea?

I think the Business Navigation screen is 8.8. If I'm not mistaken, some markets only get the larger professional screen.

UK gets the big screen as standard. It's an option in some other markets.

Yup

In markets like Germany, the starting screen is the small screen.

If you want to upgrade, then Navigation Professional with the 10 inch screen is an added cost option.

Interestingly, the BMW Germany website states that some features are not available on the small screen. For instance:
-Only BMW Loudspeaker Hifi audio is available for the small screen. If you want Harman Kardon or Bowers and Wilkins, you need to get the big screen.
-Certain features like the virtual instrument display panel require the big screen.
-Stuff like that.....

Go big or go home in a sense
The bigger the screen the better detail you get

Agreed. Not sure why you would choose smaller screen unless you preferred secondary device mounted to dash.

Interesting point.........but there may also be varying circumstances involved.

I'm guessing that in some markets (e.g. parts of Europe or Asia or whatnot), a huge portion of sales would go to fleet buyers or those that are using it as a company car. If that were the case, then it makes sense.

In addition, premium hotels that use cars like a BMW 5 series as executive or VIP transport will also take that into consideration. The hotels know that their VIP hotel guests would not care if the car their riding has an 8 inch screen or a 10 inch screen.

Just a thought....

Unless that affects their consumers. Not sure about price point as I only ever considered 609.
