warning sign and tire pressure

I got a warning signal today on my car. It was raining today in california and the weather was kind of colder than usual. The warning sign came on my dash when i started the car. It was a letter U with a exclamation mark in the inside of the U. I looked it in the manuel and it said either flat tire or low pressure tire. It doesn't look like i have a flat, but i checked the pressure of the tires and both my front and rear ran at 35. Is that okay? Could i reset it in my dash now or should i add or take out pressure on my tires? What do you guys think? Does this always occur when the whether gets too cold? I have sport package and the oem 18 inch wheels.

When did you check the pressure, cold? It is possible that a sudden drop in temperature lowers the pressure enough to register a warning.

I would leave it for a long time before checking it. I usually give it about 4-5 hours and then take check the pressure.

Could be a fault TPMS or a Sensor. Try system reset per the OM. I think the systems goes on at 3 psi press differential. Good luck.

yea bro. that has happened to me a few times. Just make sure that the TP in all the tires are the same, and then when the car is not moving, RESET the system and drive away. It will reset itself once you start moving again. Should be good to go then.

On my 328i coupe, it's 32 front and 35 rear. What does the sticker on the door say for yours???
