E90 front end alignment question

Quick question for you E90 owners. My 335i has a slight pull to the right, more noticeably at highway speeds. It is not major, but enough to keep pressure on the wheel because if you let go it will drift to the right. No shimmy or anything, smooth as glass. I took it to the dealer to have them check the alignment and they said it was fine and it is normal for BMWs to pull to the right. Are they right or is the service guy smoking crack?

Freeway is not flat and level. Is design so that water can run off quickly when rain.

I have noticed after mounting new wheels/tires that my steering is just the opposite! it pulls to the left slightly at highway/city speeds. this was not the case prior to new setup. could it be due to the .5" larger width of my new wheels or new offsets? I am taking her in on Monday to check alignment and balance

wheels:

F - 18 x 8.5 from 18 x 8
R - 18 x 9.0 from 18 x 8.5

offsets:

F - 30ET from 34ET
R - 35ET from 37ET

With my stock 162s and RFTs, it pulled slightly. When I put on my new wheels they checked the alignment and said it was good to go, but it still pulls to the right. I have not had a chance to call another BMW service center yet to ask them.

Exactly. Have you tried on a left lane on a 4 lane (2 lanes each way)? I would try to drive on the crown of the road to check it. These cars especially with SP tend to have a deliberate tram-lining to them.

No matter which road or highway I drive on, right or left side or middle, it pulls to the right.

Garage List
i just got an alignment 2 days ago. on the machine everything is perfect, camber, toe and all. i also re-pressured all my tires to equal pressure to make sure. But, when u sit in the car the geometry changes alittle and that little change could cause the movement. my car also goes slightly to the right lol. weirdd!!!! if i hold the steering wheel straight then it goes straight, but when i let go, it just slighty turns to the right. Im gona get my gf to sit in the passenger and retry, i think this is our problem

also, yes the road has alot to do with it. When i was testing my car w/ the alignment guy we both weighted about the same and the car went super straight, when im alone driving however there is a difference... thats why when u get an alignment done @ bmw they put those sand bags in the car. 150lbs in the front seat. they need a full tank of gas or something and afew other stuff..
