G30 airbag reset tool32
Anyone happen to know off the top of your head which ACSM PRG file is used to use to reset airbag on G30? Otherwise I think I need to track down a newer version of INPA to try to read the file name.
Thanks |

I went ahead and got the giant ISTA package, which seems to read and clear fault codes except when it comes to ACSM. For these it errors with “follow instructions: disable PAD module”. I can’t find any indication of how.
I was able to find through ISTA that it is ACSM5. I tried tool32 which could fs_laesen and show the errors. Trying to clear them said it worked but did nothing. This job file doesn’t contain a “steuern_verriegelung_schreiben”. Any pointers from coders? |

Just so this doesn't go down as yet another unanswered post someone may come across when googling a problem, I got some help.
I needed to use ACSM5 with tool32. The reason why I couldn't clear the error was because I made a mistake in thinking my "2 stage" airbag had stages 1 and 2. In reality I guess it has stages 1 and "vent". I was disabling "vent" when I should have disabled stage 2, hence the error was not going away. |
