Hi
Is it possible to code Apple CarPlay on a F30, 2017? I have the possibility to buy it from bmw.com

Yes it can be coded if you add FSC code or purchased through ConnectedDrive store for provisioning.

Coding is free, but FSC is must buy.

Wouldn't bother, it's not great! I've got it and rarely use it, hardly any apps available for it. UI looks pretty and messaging is ok, but that's about itZ

I concur; I would definitely recommend trying at dealership before purchasing afterthought system. If you jailbreak, you can use more apps.

Hello I recently got someone to generate FSC codes and activate the CarPlay for me. He sent me some files and I put them in a USB. Following his instruction the CarPlay was added to my car. I got a 320D 1 week old and I didnt select Enhanced Bluetooth nor Wifi Hotspot as options when I bought the car. Can I reset somehow my iDrive to the original state without the custom add of the CarPlay?

Depends if seller provider means to restore OEM FSC set. But, you can VO code back to factory.

How can you VO back to factory? Is there a guide for that? If you do an iDrive software update will it reset everything?

Yes, Flash programming will inject new CAFD and VO code.
