Bridgestone Potenza RE760 Sport?
Hi
A buddy of mine has an e46 m3 w/ the oem 18 in. rims. He needs new tires and was thinking about getting Bridgestone Potenza RE760 Sport. Has anyone ever tried these tires out before on any Bimmer? These tires are relatively new, and there aren't to many reviews on them. Feedback, such as handling, roadnoise, comfort, wet traction, etc would be much greatly appreciated. |

I'm not sure..but I have set on order. The sizes I need are on 60 day backorder from tirerack and I ordered April 30th, so I'm still waiting.
If you find any reviews let me know..the little bit I could find was very positive.

I've had the Bridgestone 760 sports on my M3 now for about 1 month - 1,400 miles or so, I had the OEM Continentals Conti's prior.
I stopped in the tire dealer today to see if I can give them back. I've noticed the following: 1- the car seems looser with these new tires 2- traction control kicks in much more frequently now, in comparison to the Conti's with over 16,000 miles on them. 3- I don't know it's a balancing issue or an alignment, but since the tire co. performed both - I had a slight steering wheel shake at speeds over 80mph which was never there before. I'm in a quandry now, these tires under perform what I had. However, I was told the Conti's are no good. I'm not sure how I will be proceeding yet. Any advice from others would be appreciated. |
