Cable type

Hi I am waiting for my new car to arrive (F36) and wanted to make sure I have the correct cable so that I can start coding almost immediately. I already have 2 different types of OBD2 connectors lying around so wanted to know if they would be compatible.

I have an OBD2 to mini usb cable as well as an OBD2 bluetooth adapter. Both are displayed below:

No to both. You need the one with the Ethernet end for the cable. If you want a dongle to use with an app to code, then you need the vgate that's described in the bimmercode thread.
