After Bridgestone Run-Flats, what tire did you get (non-runflats)?

So you gave up with Bridgestone Potenza runflats and went with non-runflats. What brand/make of tires did you get for your BMW E9x? Be careful while selecting, there are few types of tires that are very similar (example: Pirelli P-Zero Nero M+S and Pirelli P-Zero Rosso).

General Exclaim UHP. For every day driving they are great.

I went with General Exclaim UHP's and am happy. Lot of tire for the money. I have GS-D3's on my other car (ironically a much heavier cruiser - '01 740il).

Think I might should have gone with a 275 vs 265 to cover some more of the wheel lip, but it looks overall great with my VM-715's.

I have Sumitomo HTR Z III's. 235/35ZR19 Front and 275/30ZR19 Rear. I am totally satisfied with their performance so far. I've put about 600 miles on them and can say that they grip the road much better than the stock RFT's. The rears really do a great job with all that torque (JB2H). I also have a Bird's Quaife LSD and love the overall driving experience with my setup.

Has anyone put General Exclaim UHP tires on their stock 18" wheels? I don't see that they sell 255/35-R18.

Wouldn't it be nice if General offered those UHP tires in run-flat?

New coupe stock came with the Michelin Pilot Sport RFTs and they are much better than the POS Bridgestone RFTs on the 335xi non-sport sedan. Will be replacing them with 235/35R19 & 275/30R19 next week.

Look on TireRack, they do have the General Exclaim UHP in 255/35ZR18.

Hi,
Just curious which do you think is the better tire of these two for performance/handling/safety wise?

I think I've seen them in that size on the TireRack site, but why would that size be excluded on the websites for both Discount Tire and the General Tire website? Take a look here: http://www.generaltire.com/tires/T1

Well seems they don't list all the size they have available on their own site. I found another size missing on their site that I have seen before. Maybe those sizes are new and they haven't updated their site?

These seem to be the best tire for the dollar, I was thinking of these myself.

THanks

You missed Pirelli P-Zeros. The extreme performance ones, not the neros, not the rossos.
Great gum rubber high feel tires. Too damx expensive and short-lived though.
