Quick answer............. no you will not have a problem at all with fitment.

your wifes only problem will be if use the summer performance tires that come on the 189's. they will cancel out the benifit of AWD quickly

I know fitment will be ok but it wont mess up the AWD system right?...For the winter I will be putting back the all season 17inch sport wheels! so it should be great

There are people who have complained of problems with the X-drive system when going to a staggered set so be careful. Most of the issues seem to have revolved around the type of tires. The system will see tire slippage when there is none. If you go with the same size as stock and simliar tires you should be ok.
