I bought a V-Link dongle and Bimmercode.

I have followed some of the steps for coding in EBT, and the popular features. Which have all mostly worked! So that’s for peoples input.

I have however lost my Voice Command on the steering wheel, I think when I coded in Office. I have checked the CE Device Speech Recognition is “active”

Any ideas?

Any progress? I noticed that long press is wotking but short dead.

I haven't no.

I did send an message to the support team of Bimmercode, but they said that there not sure which setting has caused this.

I did do some searching and looked at the settings and mine as all active, so unsure!

I have contacted Stephan from bimmercode same result.

Have found 2 option that should be active, changed them...

Still dosn't work.

I think ill have to change to stock (dont know yet how) and do it again by esys...

Hi I have the same problem I've reset the module but with no joy and bimmercode support are as much use as a chocolate tea pot.
There reply was well if you have done a reset and it's still not working its not the programming look on the Internet for a solution.
There is obviously a problem with the coding as there are quite a few people with the same issue after programming with bimmercode.

Ok, I've never used Bimmercode to code my car, but here is the notes I took off the forum when I used ISTA to code office into my car. I'd check if they are all "acktiv" after Bimmercode.

I had the same issue when following instructions to code EBT on here. I got over it by changing the following two which were shown as nicht_aktiv in the instruction i followed (as below) to Aktiv.

HU_NBT > HMI 3000 > SVS = nicht_aktiv [Default]
HU_NBT > HMI 3000 > SYSTEM_TTS = nicht_aktiv [Default]

I also had CE Speech Recognition as Aktiv.

Thanks for the help I tried the larger settings but no change, when I changed SVS to aktiv i now get voice will be available shortly but does not start
any other ideas?

What a lad, I had followed a similar process enabling EBT on my NBT which disabled voice control. Enabling these fixed it, cheers pal!
