I cook European delivery of my M2 on October 4, 2017. In 19 days I put 3559 miles on the car, before leaving it off in Munich to be shipped back to the States. It was on the ship "Fidelio" which one from Bremerhaven up to Gothenburg Sweden, back down to Belgium, over to Bristol England and them on to Baltimore. After finally passing through the Panama Canal, it arrived at Port Hueneme in Oxnard, California on December 4. On December 5, the massive Thomas fire broke out in the hills of above Ventura California which is directly across from Oxnard.
My car was in Oxnard at the vehicle delivery center and had one false delivery schedule for about 10 days ago. It seems that such a massive fire has a way of disrupting not only peoples lives, but their livelihood and even the best Germanic scheduling possible. Just yesterday I called BMW genius to find out what was going on with my car and was informed that it was sitting on a delivery truck in Oxnard California still since last Thursday, the 21st. I called again today and they said the truck had left at 4:44 PM yesterday and would be here in Oregon on the 30th. About three hours later while driving back to Beaverton, Oregon I received a call from my dealership notifying me that the car had arrived there this afternoon. Needless to say I was extremely happy to be surprised by its arrival. So, tomorrow after two years of planning and 24 day vacation in Europe to celebrate picking it up and seeing family and friends over there, the Blue Beast Will be coming home to my garage tomorrow afternoon. Attached is a picture of it with my 2010 135 I wish now has over 125,000 miles on it from the past 8.5 years of ownership. Freude am Fahren!

Redelivery for me in west coast has usually taken about 8 weeks, so I would call your timeline normal.

I did euro delivery with my 135i back in 2009; it was about 8 weeks. This M2 delivery is at the 9 week mark, but that's fine by me; it's here and that's what matters, right?

Tomorrow it will be 14 weeks since I dropped my car off in Vienna for delivery to the US. It arrived in Oxnard on 12/5, it’s been one calamity after another getting it to Colorado, we are now on our second transport truck breaking down. The latest estimation is now Tuesday.
