What Euro Only Accessories M2?

Hi All,

I'm in Europe for a few more days and was told by a friend to consider picking up some Europe only accessories for my incoming 2018 M2. Anyone have any suggestions of euro only items to pick up while I'm here?

Thanks in advance!

What about sun visors? A lot of people get annoyed because of the writing. Although I've heard that they do and don't come with writing on the European ones. Also maybe a triangle warning kit that mounts on the trunk lid??

Door Frames are a big item in Europe. Get a spare set.

There's an actual armrest? Not seeing anything inline, any pictures?

^^ rear center armrest is part of the 40-20-40 rear seat folding. You'd have to replace all of your seatbacks. Not really feasible unless you're shipping a crate back home.

Also, the same seats are available in Canada, so probably cheaper to order parts from a Canadian dealer, if it's even possible.

I would love to have the 40-20-40 seats for this, but not enough to spend thousands or go through the logistical nightmare to figure it out.

I'm aware. Some people want the actual euro switch regardless.

Warning Triangle = 71 60 6 770 487

Bracket to mount it to the trunk lid = 51 49 7 167 548 (you need two of these)

Then all you will need to do is teach the US driving population what a Warning Triangle represents . . . .

My 1M, which came out of Canada and was originally a European Delivery car, has such a warning triangle attached to the trunk lid. If and when I have a vehicle problem, I probably would not bother to set it up, because I do not think that very many US motorists will know what it is.

Since these triangles are not commonly used by passenger vehicles in the US, I think you would be better off with something like this:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

At the very least, you will get other drivers' attention. I have a set of 3 of these and would not hesitate to use it, if needed.

I got a triangle, 2 safety vests and a first aid kit with my ED. None of which will ever be used, but it's kinda cool to see in the trunk lol
