19x9.5 rims in rear - 10mm or 12mm spacers?
Hi everyone.
I have an E90 335i with sport package. My rears are 19x9.5 rims ET40. I am looking to add 10mm (making it ET30) or 12mm spacers (=ET28). I have read that ET30 should fit nicely, but am wondering if anyone has had rubbing issues with ET28. I am running 265/30 tires at the moment. THANKS EVERYONE for your input. |

you'll be fine since you're not lowering your car. What tires are you buying?
You'll be amazed how much clearance you have back there. You generally can make anything fit (with modifications of course). |

I have read that 15mm spacers should clear as well. Has anyone had rubbing issues with 9.5 rims on 265/30/19 with this setup? Thanks! I have Falken 452's at the moment and am happy with the ride. I don't know about the tread wear yet, but the tread rating is good for the tire.

I have been reading a lot of posts around here and it seems that the sedan will work with offsets upto 25et on a 9.5" wheel without any modifications on a ZSP suspension. Provided you're running no more than 265 rear tire.

The issues arise when you start lowering the car and go to a lower offset. For example: 1. I've ran 19x9.5 et28 on a 275 tire w/ H&R Sport springs. I had to slightly roll the fenders but my camber was still in spec. 2. I've ran a 19x10 et25 on a 265 tire (toyo t1r) w/ H&R Sport springs. The previous fender roll was good enough and didn't have to do anything else. Then i got coilovers and lowered the car more! 3. Current setup: 19x9.5 et15 (10mm spacer added) w/ a 265 tire (toyo t1r) I had to super roll the fender and max out my camber (-2.9) to make this work. It works and it's VERY flush with the fender. This is a very aggressive stance but I'm not advocating to do this, but it is possible. |
