There are three possible noises from "aircon":
-compressor
-blower/fan
-outlets

No ours isn’t noisy

Do you run it on auto and if so what fan speed are you running. We generally run it on 2 or 3 and then adjust for extreme conditions

The only slight noise I find is when my wife closes one of the front vents on her side, it means more air is forced through the ones on my side and causes a slight hiss. Sometimes i feel that the aircon fan could do with a setting lower than the current lowest one if you see what I mean, but generally I find the system to be fairly quiet and quite effective.

Many thanks for your replies. I have now vastly improved noise level ie blower fan noise in warm conditions. It helps to read the instructions! I didn't realise the indicator above the fan switch was in fact an intensity indication not a fan speed indicator.

Glad you got sorted. Tend to leave mine on 2 bars& let auto sort it all out. Never been noisy in that configuration
