Is Allocation REQUIRED before a Dealer can get a production number ?

Or can they get a production number , but the order sits in limbo status at 112 ?

An allocation is required, I believe, since to get to 111 status, BMW has to accept the order. I highly doubt BMW would be accepting orders from dealers without available allocations.

A production number indicates that an allocation has been assigned.
