Retrofit ACC

Hy, does anybody know, if the active cruise control can simply be retrofitted if the KAFAS is already there? Is it a simply add the steering wheel buttons and add the function to FA?

I Hate our ACC in the X1, I would remove of it was possible, it doesn't like bright sun, rain, fog, trucks or boats on front of it, not a very good system, the one I had in my 2007 Audi Q7 was 100% better then the one in this BMW.
