Looking for wheels/tire advice!

Hey everyone,
The winter blues have me looking forward to summer and potential wheel options. I'm looking for opinions on sizing!

I've been a fan of the 666m Style wheels since they were released, however, am not willing to spend the $5000+ for a set. Instead, I'm looking at purchasing a set of VMR V801's which go for considerably less and fitting Pilot Super Sports on them. (See my render below!)

I was wondering which specs for both wheels and tires would give close to flush fitment (in terms of poke) but not sacrifice ride quality. I know there are a few threads out there, but I can't seem to find a solid fitment thread.

Currently, I'm looking at running:

18 x 8.5 et 45 wrapped in 245/45/18 PSS

All opinions are welcome!
Thanks in advance

P.S. Thanks to M-Nick for the side profile shot! Unfortunately I havent had a chance to do a proper shoot on mine

That looks awesome! As far as fitment I did a lot of measuring. At the top of the wheel arch the stock rims are 27/33mm from the lip. But the body tapers in so down at the bottom edge of the fender they will poke out. For this reason I'm running 15mm spacer in the front and 20mm in the back with stock rims for the winter (18x7.5 ET36 and 18x7.5 ET31).
I think it looks just perfect.

Your 18x8.5 ET45 would be within 3mm of my setup in the front (because your wheel is 12-13mm wider on the outside) and 7-8mm narrower in the back.
I think it would look great. Depending on the center bore you could get a custom 5mm spacer for the back to make it even better.

I'll be doing something similar for the summer wheels.

Thanks so much for the feedback! There's not a lot of information or photos on fitment for our cars so I really appreciate these details.

I was mainly worried about not enough or too much poke. Do you think with running a spacer in the rear, there will be any issues? I know this is usually a topic with multiple perspectives, but what's your opinion?

I'm running different thickness spacers right now on two different cars. With just 5mm difference it can't really cause any problems and in my opinion it looks better.
Is it worth the trouble? I'm a nitpicker so for me it is.
Will anyone else even notice? Probably not but I do (see the above point )

Here is the setup with 15mm front / 20mm rear spacer -

It's very hard to capture in photos because of the fender shape. It can look drastically different from various angles.
The tires are stock size (225/50/18) but these Blizzaks are very "bulky" compared to stock Pirellis.
