I read the manual...that actually doesn't do anything for the windshield wipers...
now doing what the manual SAYS... It's funny, I actually did this today, I had read the manual on it a few days ago, then when I went to do the wipers I couldn't remember for the life of me. |

If it's the same as a 2013 3er:
From the manual: - Fold-out position of the wipers - Fold wipers back when you want to change the blades or with pending low temperatures. 1. Switch the ignition on and off again. 2. With icy conditions make sure that blades are not frozen to the windshield. 3. Press the wiper lever up beyond the point of resistance and hold it for approx. 3 seconds, until the wiper remains in a nearly vertical position. After the wipers are folded back down, the wiper system must be reactivated.

another forum post:
If car is running, turn it off by press "start" once, hold stalk all the way up until wipers park. If car is completely off, press "start" once without igniting(do not depress brake), hold stalk all the way up until wipers park. |

I have a problem though, my wipers park fine as I've park them every time it snows. However, once I start them again by pushing the wiper handle up or down, it goes back to driving position but there was 3 times where it's dead after. What I mean is the wipers stop working along with the washer motor(The wipers don't move and I don't hear the motor when I pull the handle). Driving it a bit seems to turn it back on but I had to restart the car once to bring it back to life. Has this ever happen to anybody? |
