While driving near Ulm in Germany, came across this. I think it's the facelifted X1. Not sure if I can help anyone with this, but here it is:

I’ve looked at photos of the X1 and X3 and if you compare the actual shape of the rearmost side window it seems to me that it is an X3 that was out on the road.
The new X3 window, like the one in the video, has what I can best describe as a single ‘curve/corner’ to take the glass shape up from the lower edge, whereas the X1 has two ‘curves/corners’ and, in my mind, looks better. I hope you can see what I mean.

Perhaps the iX3 - spotted testing in Scandinavia and reported in Autocar, quote:

"Spy photographers have caught a test mule for the i3X testing in Scandinavia where the range of its battery pack is being evaluated in conditions that regularly dip below -10 degrees Celsius."

Would be good if they brought out an iX1.

Yes I’m sure you’re right, definitely a version of X3 I’d say, those tail lights give it away... and I hope they (the rear lights) don’t make the X1 LCI as I don’t like them much

It could be testing other power plants. There is a iX3 and X3 M coming in the next couple of years.
