2018 X1 vs 2018 X3 driving impressions
Opinions on the driving dynamics and fit and finish between these two? How much of a difference is the RWD bias of the X3?

Not driven a new X3 but I'd imagine quiet a bit. Not over keen on the X1 FWD bias truth be known. It does hook up in the end & leaving in sport allows it to do so bit quicker but can definitely feel the FWD bias coming off then on the power pitching into roundabouts & tighter bends

X3 far better than the x1 to drive ,I have both x1 2.5d m sport x3 35m sport .The x1 suffers from bad road noise a result from the run flats bear in mind with it being front wheel biase you will need a new set of front tyres at 18000miles onwards and also keep on top of the tyre pressures but great engine. It does not matter if you buy X3 2.0d or any 3.0d models they have great handling I have done over 250000 in the last ten years on both models can't fault them my personal preference is the X3 3.0d models with the auto box.

My 25D, UK car is on non run flats as I believe are most / all the range here?
Fronts only did 15/16 K miles iirc, roundabouts & national speed limit (70mph) between them in MK tends to wear them out |
