Schroth Six point harness installation

Hi guys,

I bought the Schroth 6 point harness along with Recaro bucket seats and Recaro slider and brackets.

My question is, anyone has experience with this? There’s no place for the sub strap to secure to.

I think this is what you need.

Good read.

Are you running a rollbar or cage?

I can’t seem to figure out where that VAC adapter would fit in to offer a secure point for the sub strap.

I am currently running a cage in the back.

Typically the bar attaches using the bolts holding down the front seat.

Looking into the Macht Schnell floor mount and sub mount, hopefully they will work and solve the problem...

There is no factory sub mount - except in the M4 GTS. You either have to weld mounts into the floor or fab a strong steel mount under the seat - see photo.

FYI, if you’re installing the set up on your own then at least have a race shop look at it before you take it out to the track.
