X1 lost traffic sign recognition etc. after nav' update.

I'm sorry if this has been covered before but I've just got round to updating my navigation software to 2018 European map. Unfortunately after the update the car has lost the ability to read traffic signs etc. I've just two lines of dotted lines, one above the other, where the info should be. I think this may be a known problem but can anyone help with how it can be resolved. I'm waiting for a call back from BMW Northampton. Regards, Paul

What was the problem? The speed limit recently stopped showing for me too. I fear I may have turned off a setting by accident.

Mine lost it during a software update at the dealers last year. If yours has been in, call & get it booked back in, it's a known fault & they have a update to fix it.
