The line has to be drawn somewhere. In terms of fitting in the ikea boxes... you can always release the seats so they fling forward but not fold right over. Ie. someone could still sit in the chair with it resting on the boxes and not latched fully back. It’s not safe necessarily but doable in those cases. Choosing rear recline does not add any more space in cabin. It just adds a pivot and locking mechanism. Without this option the rear back still pivots but doesn’t lock. It’s the McGyver solution hehe. |
