With the rear bumper you mean the carbon fiber diffuser?

have done this and is really quite easy took about 2 hours to fit the difusser.

the owner of this car, filled the lower gap with carbon fiber he cut out for the quad setup and ran a seam of sealant on the top to take car of the gaps. the final pics look very good.

the last pic is a facelift bumper. I think body matched bondo may have an oem look to it.

Could you or anyone else please show some close-up profile pictures so that we can see how much is the gap on the corners?
