Not a fan of that setup at all. It would have been nice to have had the option from the factory on my 2018, but to me that after market style add-on HUD looks gaudy.

Hud's are great when driving in a strange city at night. I find them extremely helpful. I completely agree with you on more pics. The integration has to be excellent.

Where do the wireharness go? Not a bad solution if it’s invisible.

This was discussed a year or so ago here. I believe that it was only available as an accessory in Europe, if I recall one person here did install it but I don't remember him reporting anything back. Personally I am not a fan of the setup for a premium car.

I like a HUD and checked the kit when I bought my M2. That pic looks a lot nicer than tbe parts! Cable drapes over the dash and plugs into the OBD port. Bit too messy and aftermarket try hard. Maybe it has been reissued?

Wow that's ridiculous, definitely a no-go with cables draped over the dash.

Hey,

That was me who ordered the parts from Europe. I had to go through Canada to get them delivered over here to the US. It hasn't come in yet due to he time for shipping, but I discussed it with a parts clerk.

What you see in the photo is exactly how it's set up. The previous version had exposed cables that ran to the window and down the side to the obd port. The housing was part of the revision.
