Awesome. Thanks for posting. I had a friend attend this event. Bimmerpost had some staff attend this event as well I saw.
I think this is a more honest assessment. Some journalists have reported better steering feel, yet in this video they state that it is still lacking. He does make a good point about power, but we all know the Competition Package is still coming. Also, I loved how he pointed out how the iDrive screen looks like an afterthought, been saying that for years. Also that comment about the nose plowing into the corner, yeah that's the nice 55/45 distribution the car now has. Still a very cool video though, and I'm looking to make my own review once F90's become available.

Steering feel-I could feel what the F10 M5 (non CP) was doing with its minimal feel, if the F90 improves on that, then good. Front end plow-he mentions "when over cooking a corner" and when in base 4WD. One drive the car correctly and turn off the nannies (at least partly) and even the F10 can be more balanced. I'm sure it s the same with the F90 Dash-I like the interior better than the F10. And certainly better than the AMG or Tesla that have become large video screens replacing buttons and conventional controls and instruments. Styling-The E39 M5 was very conservative yet is a classic design. Bodes well for the F90 for years to come. The Lexus LS is ugly today inside and out and will be ugly 20 years from now. PS in 3 weeks I'll have an M550i, so maybe I'm biased, and definitely jealous of those getting the new M5....

I agree with you guys.
Annoying yes, but also informative. Have to take all reviews with a grain of salt, especially anything subjective. Steering "feel" is subjective as is styling. Love it or hate it, a lot of OEMs seem to be going with the iPad-on-a-stand main screen. Also, the exterior of every M5 in history has been subdued. But IMO, I find nothing offensive. It's clearly a progression of the F10 inside and out, certainly a tad more aggressive in both cases. Overall a fine looking automobile. I especially like the new seats, beautifully contoured and nicely trimmed. The steering wheel is really nice too. |

😂😂😂
You can't take the review of TFL serious These guys should stick to reviewing domestic cars under $30,000. The only opinion that matters is Chris Harris who is honest and actually knows what he is taking about. And ofcurse your personal opinion once you buy yours 😉 |
