Wheel O FOURTUNE!
Ok guys so i scraped up some money to buy a SICK set of wheels.
currently i am deal with julius over at wheelsto. the rims im looking to get are going to be a very high performance/class 3pc wheel. I'm looking at the vellano VSO, 360 forged Multi Spec, 360 forged split seven, and possible 1 LEXANI wheel. any suggestions as to any other types of brands and your experience with them. i dont want iForged or DPE as everyone has that and i want something thats a bit different. the setup i have in mind seems to be something like this THESE ARE GOING TO BE 20 inches. i dont think its ghetto and its very classy if you put a nice wheel on. not some cheap wanna be 20 incher. front: 9 - 9.5 rear: 10 -10.5 (although i think 10.5 is wayyyyy to aggressive) tires will be either Nitto ENVO or Toyo T1R's, sizes are either 235, 245 front and 275 or 285 in rear. need some input from guys running similiar setup. i dont wanna lose alot of driving performance and feel, so i want the best setup that provides the most clearance from day to day driving without rubbing this is my DD. also im not dropped and if i every do that well thats another topic. Experience and information would be greatly appreciated when making my decision. you guys are like my family e90post FTW!! Last edited by JesusFrEAk; 06-04-2008 at 10:10 AM.. |

oh also the rims are either going to be brush aluminum face w/ chrome lip.
but im torn between that and maybe black face, w/ chrome lip and bolts. let me know guys cuz for some reason i feel like the black is way to agressive but i like it when i see it on peeps cars. maybe im just afraid cuz rims are so freaking expensive. |

Let me just say that front size should be 8.5" or 9" wide, not as wide as 9.5". And I'd go with brushed center and chrome lip.
Good luck.

IMHO mostly all HRE's look plain...and they dont have the executive look.
anyways can someone give me some input on tire sizes and realistic expectations with daily driving. will do supreme power. |

Hi man, I am looking into the same, and my final two options are de Vellano VSO and the Radenergie R10, very similar and great quality. Both are expensive but worth it, nobody has those out there, or at lease few cars will be seen with this setup. Good luck in your decision. Look the R10.

i have the 360 forged spec 5's on my 335 and i have never been happier. i've been through the hre's before and i liked them, but i wasn't in love with them like the 360 forged wheels. Im even thinking of getting another set for the 335, the Mesh 10 because they are soo sick! The ride is smooth as butter and the styles are just sick!
I would do the split sevens or the Mesh 10.... and Julius from wheel sto is a bad ass heres my car just in case you missed it: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...ght=360+forged on a side note i am running the Nitto INVO (best tire hands down) with a 245/30/20 and 285/25/20 set up. No rubbing on my H&R sport drop and it handles great!

lolz, i've been told they are doing some major updates to the site, just look up at the m3 pic, the split sevens are first, then the mesh 10's, then the spec 5

We do a whole lot of different wheels from HRE's to 360 Forged to Vellano, but when it comes to wheels, I think you got to follow your heart. tell me what you think about the 360 Forged and the Vellano's... or call and we'll chat...
