25D X1 stuttering

Anyone experiencing any stuttering on their 25D engines when driving? Mine is doing it occasionally, originally put it down to bad fuel but have had 2/3 tanks through it since & still seeing the same issue.

It's not often & its under normal driving conditions. Going to call & book in for a check but no warning lights or anything on the idrive.

I recently had a problem with my 2017 X1 (US 28i) where it would studder now and then at acceleration and even stalled out one cold day. Last week I brought it in and it turned out it was as I suspected. It had a bad O2 sensor. Why that would go bad at 12k is beyond me but there you have it! My check engine light was going off now and then due to that as well but that was very sporadic.

Booked in for a week Tues, 1st loan car available day as they want it for the day.

Fingers crossed it's sorted & I have recovery if it gives up on me beforehand. Mentioned the O2 sensor so cheers, will see what gives

A modified ERG fitted to replace the faulty one & reprogrammed.

All done Monday & had 2.0D X3 Msport for the day. Actually prefer the X1 over it, more car like seating position & the X3 is as big as my old E53!

Car back to non stutter mode, happy days

Ugh I finally got rid of a Mazda that had chronic EGR valve problems (replace 4x in 120k miles). Sure hope I'm not in for more on the X1.

Hope so mate.

My car has done 23K miles since new in Oct 16, hopefully it's a 1 off & the modified part fixes the issue. Drove it for 2/3 weeks & 1K + Miles with it playing up. Wasn't end of the world but it's nicer now.

My problem was diagnosed as an EGR issue too, lets hope this is a one off.

With this and the LED tailgate units failing, fingers-crossed everything settles down.
