Connected drive - Remote Services question
Hey guys, can anyone answer this question, if you install the BMW connected app on your phone and add your car can we see fuel etc for BMW X1 like on this YouTube video at 5:00 minutes in.
I think this is a really cool feature and would like to have this on my phone. Also when I go to the website https://www.bmw-connecteddrive.co.uk/ it shows remote services as a £60 purchase, so do we have to pay for this feature for our phones on the BMW X1? And is the fuel consumption part of the app including in remote services or am I looking at the wrong thing? Thanks in advance. |

Very interesting.
Mine is one of the first ones (EU spec, late 2015) and although I also have fuel level and estimated range in the app, they only update when my iphone is plugged in the car (and app opened). Does your MY18 update this info over the air ? Same thing for doors/windows/roof lock status? Do you have those updating OTA ? Thanks |

Then once I parked and got to my desk at work, I tried using the remote services such as locking or unlocking, etc. and it updated my gas, doors, etc. info right after. |
