Tire Help

This may be a simple question, but, can someone give some guidance w.r.t. tire options. I've got a new 2006 330xi, with no sports package (stock - 17" Bridgestone 225/45 R17 RFTs) and am wondering what options I have for other tires (non run flats) on the same rims. Can this be done or are the rims specific for RFTs? Will the suspension need to be retuned (??) for non-RFTs?

Also, can anyone comment on the Bridgestone Blizzak RFTs that the dealer wants to sell me?

Thanks
