Seat Height
So as my X1 gets closer I wonder about the seat height and adjustment. When I ordered the car I didn’t take my fair lady wife with me, and she recently asked are the seats high up is it like a proper suv. Unfortunately I didn’t pay that much attention when it ordered it, I felt it was higher up but was mostly focused on how it drove and the auto gearbox. Also whats the height adjustment range of the drivers seat and passengers. My current car doesn’t have seat height adjustment on the passenger side, that’s mostly where she sits anyways :-)

Seat Height Adjustment
I have standard seats, leather in my XLinexDrive20d and have found the height adjustment [passenger & driver] a bit limited compared tp previous cars and also the seats a bit firm and rather uncomfortable so we bought Medipaq cushions which improved the comfort and also gave us that bit of extra height. Would recommend. Can buy from Amazon or Ebay.

We are in the USA and have the electric sport seats in our X1. They have a lot of height and other adjustments, and are very comfortable as long as you are not too wide. The X1 is a small SUV, so compared to a 2 or 3 series, you will have a higher driving position. Compared to a X5, the X5 will be much higher. We like the driving position. Higher than a regular car, but not as high as a bigger SUV.

It's not as high as bigger SUVs but the height adjustment on the seat has good range. As long as she's at least 5'3" she'll have no good view out of the car.
