BMW logo lights

Does anyone have these installed? I got mine from ebay last week and for some reason they do not fit in the 2018... Has anyone ever had trouble installing them? The original lights snaps in easily but the ones I got from ebay are not going in

I did get some elsewhere. It took a sharp knife to cut a bit away and a bit force to fit them.
At first I thought did would not fit also.
