GF just picked up a new x line mineral grey X1
she loves the car so far and so do I! BMW definitely hit the new design out of the park in my opinion. Car drives very nicely through the tristate and performance seems to be adequate for this platform. Coming from e36/e92 natural aspiration I wasnt sure if I would like the turbo 4. Wheel design and cargo room are pros as well as the sport seats. We definitely missed out by not getting LED headlights anyone swap out the H7 halogen bulbs for something around 4K,mlooking for a crisp white look. I have used PIAA in the past which were nice but didnt last long. Thanks Last edited by M3SCUZZI; 04-08-2018 at 10:11 AM.. |

I went with the PIAA bulbs for the fog lights on my 2018 until I can retrofit genuine LED driving lights from either F25 X3 or F15 X5. I would go with the PIAA H7s. Have used PIAAs in every e30, e46, e90, and MINIs over the past 15 years.

Sorry, I didn't mean it like that. I know they are available. What I meant was is it possible to just swap them? Would coding be needed? Extra parts? Would it simply be plug and play?

All good maverick, not sure of details of it as I have not looked deep into it, I would imagine a recode would be necessary along with all parts and controllers from LED assembly.
