How to stop passenger mirror from tilting when backing up?

Just this week my passenger side mirror started tilting down when I’m in reverse. I suspect it’s so you can see the ground better, but it tilts WAY too much and I’d prefer to disable it.

Anyone know how turn this on and off? Or even better, can the tilt be adjusted?

when you put the mirror selector (left/right) to the left, you will see that the mirror will not tilt in reverse.
