Black grilles- wrap vs replace?

For those who have switch to the black front kidney grilles, what was the approximate cost of vinyl wrap versus those who may have switched out the part entirely? Is it easy to remove the grill itself? I would prefer if there is a way to do this without taking the car apart at all. However I am guessing you cannot wrap it properly without removing it.

Wouldn't you be able to Plastidip as well? I've never used the product, perhaps the finish doesn't look good, isn't shiny. But it seems self-install would be easier than with a wrap.

i had my kidney grilles wrapped black, came out perfect. I also had the side grille wrapped black as well as the door handle inserts. Exhaust tips powder coated black as well. Car looks just right now!

Would you post a pic of the wrapped parts? Shop I spoke to questioned the durability of wrapped vinyl (esp grille) but prob trying to upsell me the aftermarket black grille. Mind telling me how much you paid for the wraps?
