M2 Performance Edition vs. M2 Competition

I haven't been following very closely. Can someone please give me the bullet points on the differences? I know we go from a N55 to a S motor, but what about suspension and exhaust and the other bits?

Is there more to it?

If you bothered to read the thread you would see some differences right away:

1. New front end grill treatment
2. New engine
3. M3/4 seats
4. Enlarged brakes with probably 6 calibers up front
5. M1 and M2 buttons on the steering wheel
6. Can’t see the suspension so we don’t know if it is different.
7. Different wheels
8. M side mirrors

I am sure other people can add some more details.

What is your plan? In your opinion, will the competition be worth unloading the PE or is it just a bit better?

The prudent thing to do is wait and see... it is all speculation until they come out and people can test drive them... if you unload an amazing car right now you might end up being sorry... for all we know, the M2C might sound like shit (doubtful but possible). I just picked up my LCI and plan on waiting at least 3 years until the new M2C passes the test of time and all the kinks get sorted out and who knows, perhaps a M2C LCI in 3 years time?

I plan on keeping my M2 for at least eight years. I have plenty of horse power for my needs and the car is perfectly balanced. Who knows what options will exist then.

Where I am coming from is turbo BMWs have lots of maintenance starting at about 100,000 miles.
