Removing Wireless Charging

Hi everyone, newbie here. I'm about to buy my first X1. The one that comes closest to the specs I'm looking for includes wireless charging (for $500!). I don't even have a phone compatible with this. I'd rather have the storage space in the arm console anyway. Anyone know if it's possible to get the dealership to take it out?

Depends whether or not you are planning to keep your current phone for longer than you'll own the car
