Coating on Xpel?

Does anyone have experience with the Feynlab Vinyl&Ppf coating on top of Xpel? I want to add further protection and mostly more gloss to the Xpel but I would like to have a coat that has self healing properties like the Feynlab. I'm also debating using Gyeon Mohs instead but it does not have self healing properties although it does add a layer of strength and I believe also more gloss than Feynlab... anyone have any experience/recommendations?

Film on film? Isn’t that a bit like wearing two baseball caps on your head at once?

Yes but most people do add a coat on top of the ppf for gloss/protection

I've heard of ceramic coating over the film, but never film on film.

No need to double glove; higher end escorts are screened to be clean

Maybe I didn't explain it right but I am looking for ceramic over film and my question is Feynlab vs Gyeon... Feynlab has one that's specifically for over ppf

I usually just get the front of my cars wrapped with ppf and then ceramic coat over. I have found that the ceramic doesn't hold up over ppf nearly was well as it does on paint. I may have to check out this Feynlab.

I had CQuartz Pro over my XPEL. There was a drastic difference between the performance of the ceramic on non-filmed areas vs. filmed areas. In my opinion the film ruins the ceramic properties. As layer of top coat (like reload) helped for a little, but the beading and runoff was gone within the first couple of months.

Industry standard is film on paint, coating on film. I have Gyeon Mohs+ on Suntek PPF
