Did I damage my RFT - short distance on low PSI
Hi Guys,
I recently picked up a 2006 330i with the sports package 18inch 162's. (Bridgestone Potenza RFT - 255/35/R18 90W) On my home home (less than a mile from home), I got the 'Tire Puncture' warning. Got out and noticed 1 wheel looked slightly low. drove home at 40km/h (+- 24mph) for 3/4 mile. At home I tested the tire and it was at 7.5PSI. Would this have damaged the tire? Can I just have the puncture fixed, or will I have to replace the whole tire? Thanks Mike |

RFT are usually good for 100+km with no pressure. 3/4 mile would not have done any damage. Just pump it up and reset the monitor.
