BMW G05 X5 & F95 X5M reveal dates

BMW is scheduled to reveal the G05 X5 by the the end of June. Production set for September this year with deliveries from late 2018.
I will keep everyone updated with certain dates as more information is released closer to mid June.

F95 X5M is scheduled to be revealed late March 2019. Production beginning mid 2019 for MY20.

Thanks for the info. So does this mean that customers can start possibly start getting deliveries by October?
I can get an amazing deal on an in stock X5 now, but I would love to get into the new X5. However, i'm guessing that there isn't going to be much of a discount on the new X5 for a while...

I believe November/December deliveries. 2 months minimum from your build slot if you get a September build.

That's my dilemma too! Lease is up at end of Sept. Do i get a heavily discounted f15 x5 or the G05 with barely any discount. My train of thought is do I really want the first batch that comes to Canada or to wait a year to get the gremlins out.

Yup. And my dilemma is also that I need very specific options on the car and because the X5’s are no longer being built with drivers assist package I can only get what’s available on the lot. And there is only 1 car out there that fit my option needs! Otherwise it’s going to be the Infiniti or Lexus with the third rows for us, but I really rather be in a BMW. We will see...

Where do you get heavily discounted X5 s? The local dealers up here in Boston area want ridiculous prices. You would not believe what I was quoted. I just want X5 5.0 m sport , multicontour, executive package, and dhp if available

In NJ and a few dealerships. I go to NJ from Long Island because of the MSD’s. I’m grandfathered in. I use either BMW of Springfield or BMW of Freehold. I’m going for Xdrive35i and there are so many sitting around on lots.

Define heavily discounted. Everyone seems to have a different definition of it on F85.

You can extend your lease (in the U.S., don't know about Canada) for 12 months and if you get another BMW within the 12 months your lease ends with no early termination penalty. If you don't get another BMW then you're stuck for the 12 months. It's technically a new 12 month lease based on the residual value, my payment changed by $.11/month.

That's what I did since my lease ended in May and I'm waiting for the G05. I have until next May to take delivery of the G05 so there should be some deals by then and the early bugs if any should be worked out.
It's a nice idea if you're pretty sure you're going to get another BMW.

11% on an F85? I don't know about that unless you're leasing a base model and you're baking in a lot of incentives.

We are talking about $10-12k, doable depending on deal structure and available incentives.

agreed, but on a $115k+ build and not leasing or financing that number is not going to happen. 6% without incentives.

2 months to be safe for first batch. I ordered the f15 on launch (not preorder) and was like 4 weeks. And also, first year models, they always end up with some sort of shortage, pushing back the build dates of certain options.
