Piano black trim creaking noises
Model 2017. Black trim creaking noises make me crazy as well grill on dash. Someone has PUMA number from BMW to repair? It is heat related and does go away in about a minute or so.

A lot of people have noticed this on the G30, myself included.
I think it's a problem whichever trim you have, the cracks come from the dashboard. I assume BMW will get it fixed on new models......

Yeh noticed this but only when the car has been sat outside in the warm sun for several hours( so not that often in the U.K.!!)
Stops after a couple of minutes just different expansion contraction rates of different materials is my guess. |

It’s not just Piano trim
Mine creeked like mad especially in the warmth.. The dealer found that there were some missing screws and it stopped in the manufacturing. I had a minor creek, still loud but lasted a second’ish.. l love this car so much by the way..

Could you specify what kind of missing screws did the dealer find? are they under the black plastic dash?
