M2 or M4CP? Dilemma...

Hi guys, I am looking to buy my first M car, so opinions on this would be appreciated.

As things stand my two options are a new M2 competition, which will cost me approx £54k.
Or a new M4 competition which will cost me approx £55k (after a 20% discount, which BMW won't do on the M2C).
Both with all the same options essentially.

The issue is, with the M2C, I would be after a carbon roof, and also a wrap (as am not excited by any of the colours available).

So, do you think the M2C is worth £5-10k more (depending on cost of roof and wrap), than an M4?

BMW wants one to buy M4 unless one is ready to sacrifice - limited color choice, cheap interior, no weight reduction, no adjustable suspension, less HP for the same weight

20% off...they are struggling to sell M4’s in UK.

20% is NHS discount (health service), which they offer on all models - except for ones which have limited supply (as the M2C will be initially)

20% seems too good to be true, especially when 0% finance is available on the M3/M4.

Sorry should have clarified... this is specific NHS discount, which they will offer on all cars except ones of limited supply.

They won't offer 0% finance however in addition!

If you have to ask this. Get the M4.

If you're seriously contemplating hacking the roof off a brand new car, get the M4. Or wrap the M2C roof to look carbon (thats my plan).
