Very concerned about my EUro Delivery

I am picking up my F 90 at BMW Welt on June 12. How can I be sure that the software is upgraded so I don't have an engine malfunction at 100 mph?

You will meet with a customer advisor at the Welt, be sure to ask them.

It'll be too late at that point in my opinion.

I also am taking delivery in Europe this month. I called the Welt a few weeks ago to ask whether any potential service bulletins would be applied before I took delivery. That was before the recall officially came out for the fuel pump/drivetrain malfunction. They told me that this would have to be handled through my dealer.

My dealer and the regional sales office then got in touch with Munich and have apparently arranged for the reprogramming to be performed before my arrival at the Welt.

I wouldn't leave it to chance and suggest you press your dealer on this. But with the delivery stop bulletin out now, I would think that the Welt is arranging for *all* cars to be fixed prior to delivery.

Guys they issued a stop-sell due to this. No cars should pass from BMW to customer now without the update
