Hockenheim Silver pictures of M2 competition in low light condition

Took the following pictures last night while going to a karting event. There was an BMW XDrive event nearby.

The car looked very good in person and the paint definately whiter in those conditions changing to more grey as you were walking away.

For people complaining about the exaust you really need to lay down are be far away to see the ugly sheet metal. If you are standing up near the car you don't see it at all. The exaust tips are an improvement compared to the previous one. They look more 'finished' and better integrated.

I have MW on my M235i with black BBS CI-R wheels, it looks like my car in low light

. I was going to order HS but I might have to spring for LBB so it looks like I'm driving a different car!

Colors seem off to me like the pics were put through a filter. Even if the lights above are incandescent the black top shouldn't look as brownish yellow as it does. Seems to also be oversaturated.

Picture was take on an iPhone 6 no filter using apple default photo app. It was taken at around 21h00est and the sky was darker from what the picture shows as it is usually the case when taking picture at that time. In person it looked mostly white under does condition with the light reflection clealy showing the metallic of the paint and color of the reflected light. Walking to a distance change the color to something definately more grey.

Like mentionned in the other posts this paint will have different flavour depending of the external lightning condition and this is what I observed last night.

Will try to go back tomorrow and take some shot during daytime.

The OP is from Quebec,so it is probably the exact same car that was at the BMW driving event in Toronto a couple of weeks ago.

It does look like pearl but pearl (with rainbow colors) hasn't been around since the 90s. Those colors are likely introduced by a high ISO used by the iphone to get a brighter exposure. This causes "noise" colors in the image. If that is the true color then never mind :-)

Well, at least it's more interesting than AW and BSM. But there's no question when you describe your car to someone, you'll be saying "it's the white BMW over there".

Exactly the conclusion I have come to. It looks like pearl white or champange white from the 90's. I didn't like it then and don't think I like it that much today either. LBB FTW

LBB is definitely nice.

I am not, however, seeing the pearl in these (or other) pictures of HS - I am starting to see more gray and light silver, with some version of white sprinkled in intermittently.

I remain optimistic about the color, and it's the one I think I want - can't wait to see it in the flesh.

In person it wasn't exactly like a white pearl which would always reflect pink, blue kind of tone...it is reflecting whatever surounding light is thrown at it with a white/grey base. I guess this is why the color is changing so much relative to external light.

Thank you for the honest angle of the back of the vehicle. The can is subtle and not what some other pics make it out to be.

Hmmmm lookin good in the sun and nice contrast with the black parts

For me it would be an easy pick:
AW hard to clean,too common and bland

BSM impossible to maintain clean in my country

LBB is the original M2 color

Sunset... well....

HS all the way !

The wheels... hard to choose... very hard...

Actually, I'm thinking of changing my order from the 788M to the 437M. Those 788M wheels look absolutely fantastic in detail, but in my opinion they do not fit to the style of a M2. They look just too fancy and therefore not sporty enough. But that's just my feeling.

So does anyone else have some pictures of an M2C in HHS with 437M wheels?
