BBS CH M3 offset E92

I am strongly considering going with the M3 offset BBS CH's for my E92. I LOVE the concavity of the rears. I have contemplated taking the ET20 offset and reducing it to ET25 by shaving the hub.

If I do not lower my car at all (and I mean at all), would the ET25 with Toyo Proxes 4 tires (rather rounded sidewalls), can I get away with this?

I know there have been 2 members who have done the hub shaving route with this and lowered, but dialed in negative camber which I do not want to do.

Unless you roll your arches and add negative camber forget it.

how would you shave the rear by adding 5mm?

But on an e92, you are asking alot. You might be able to fit it if you roll the fenders and max out your camber. I also hope you're on c/o's, you'll most likely need to raise the car a lil to fit it. Oh and think about running 255 or 265 toyo t1r's to get em to fit. It'll be stretched, but it'll look sweet!

I wouldnt 'add' 5mm. By shaving the offset, it actually brings the offset from 20 to 25.

aggressive fender roll should do it. i had et24 19x10 with toyo proxes4 on mine and it worked. granted it was e90. but my roll was very moderate. only one inch of the fender was tapped in. if u roll the entire thing flat it should fit.

Didn't Tam@SupremePower (riceburner) have CH with M3 offset on his e92, and I don't think he shaved the hub?!

He also had an incredible negative camber in order to get it to fit.

It is killing me that BBS will not offer the CH in an ET30 offset or so. I think the ET40's are a little too tucked in, and I do not want to run spacers.

Why no spacer?? The kit's for BMW include longer lug bolts so you haven't have any issues at all running a 10mm spacer!

a few questions, how can you shave the hub without losing the concavity inside the lug holes? and why don't you like spacers? i'm also playing around with an et22 wheel and am in the same predicament

gotcha. I was a confused for a sec.

I understand the desire to not run spacers, and I felt the same way at first. However running them on the back doesn't create any noticeable ill effects like it can on the front.

Essentially you could go with your first route if you adamantly decide to not run a spacer.

However my theory is to make it fit. How far you want to go to make it fit is up to the indvidual tho.

I dont want to run spacers because I feel that they can crack under extreme temperature changes. I also want the more concave CH wheel. The ET40's just dont come close to the concavity of the ET20's.

That's why I would love for BBS to make an ET30 BBS CH wheel in 19x9.5 applications. There has already been a large interest expressed by members of this board.

I have contacted them. I hope this is something that ends up coming through.

I would buy proper E9x offset 19 inch BBS CH's in a heartbeat.

Yes, some 19x10 ET30 would be awesome for the e90.

+1 agreed, nice offset for the E90s with a wider wheel well.

However, that would be a tad aggressive for the E92s, especially dropped ones. 19X10 +35 is a better choice

Wheel fitment is an art.

With the right pull, camber, and tire setup, those will fit- not everyone can pull it off though, and that's where the appeal is.

Some of the best fitment I've seen in a good while:
