Opinion needed: Donington Grey or Snapper Rocks Blue
I know color is a very subjective topic but just wanted to get some opinions from others.
Saw a Domington Grey in person and loved it. I was pretty set on the color with the Aragon brown interior. But then I got to thinking that this F90 M5 already has such a sleeper look that maybe I should opt for a brighter color as I don't want this to just be another grey BMW on the road. I ended up changing my order to Snapper Rocks Blue. This was before I saw IND had ordered and received the same exact exterior/int color build. It looks great IMO but the color changes in every pic from what I've seen so far. Sometimes it's too real/greenish which is getting me double minded and considering going back to DG. Car has a 6/24 production date so I literally only have the next 2-3 says to change something since the dealer expects it to go into Prod next week. Would love to get some thoughts on this! Thanks! PS. My last car was a RS7 in White(S5 in Black before that). Early 30's if that matters and in NJ so we have the North East winter's! |

Personally, I'm not a fan of Snapper Rocks Blue if you want to go blue I'd go with Marina Bay Blue. Just my opinion. |

Yeah I loved the Domington but just see grey BMW's left and right. I saw a MBB as well and didn't like it much.
To top it off, guess like I spoke too soon....or too late in this case. Just got the call that the car went into production today. Snapper Rocks it is! |

For me, I like the DG, but when I saw Rhodonite Silver it was a jaw dropping "wow" reaction. I've heard several people here say that there are too many gray or silver BMWs out there, but the lines of this car pop with that silver paint.

Gray-scale can be boring, however. I think what works best on large cars is a subdued color that has really nice metallic flake, so it looks special in the sun. |

You guys revived an old thread!
I went with snapper and couldn't be happier. It's definitely a loud color but it's changes so much based on different lighting and look amazing. I do love Domington as well but I just think this makes the car look much more aggressive and stand out from the 5 series bodystyle we see daily. |

I ordered the 2019 BMW M5 Comp in Snapper Rocks Blue.
Was myself debating between Arctic Frozen Grey or Snapper Rocks Blue, went with the latter because I felt the color was more fun and sporty whereas Arctic Frozen Grey was more of an "executive" kind of character. |

I got Singapore grey. It is an amazing color on the f90. I will send pix when I get it back. Euro delivery and vessel just docked in Baltimore
I realize this is not one of your choices but I will bet the SGM contingent is strong and delighted with their choice. BTW - the car in any color is amazing!!!!!! |

The Op's question is too hard to answer, since the colors are apples and oranges and subjected to taste.

Gray is classier Blue is more modern/dare to even say "younger" looking I have white and I think it's so boring but so clean and classy. Go with what you like! |

Thanks and it's truly a stunner!
OP, what are you leaning towards and how old are you? That will also give leverage one way or another. If you are a kid in your 20s or 30s, you'd be fine in the snapper. If you are 40+, it might be a little much... I'm 48 and honestly never had a color like that, i've always been mostly black w/ sprinkles of silvers and greys.
