Reverse Camera Failing

Hi everyone,
Over the course of the last few months with my 18' X1 my reverse camera has failed to turn on a small handful of times, often correcting itself the next time I put the vehicle in reverse.

As of this week, that problem has become much more frequent, it's failed 100% of the time for the last 2 days, about a dozen times putting the car into reverse. Do you all have any similar experiences to share? Is there a quick fix I can do or will this require a trip to the dealer?

Go to the dealer, could be a bad headunit. I just had mine replaced because the nav froze a couple times. If turning the card on and off doesn't solve a software issue not much else we can easily do ourselves.
